GTA IV will come to PC in November

Grand Theft Auto IV will be released for PC on 21st November in Europe, Rockstar announced today.
Pleasantly, that's just a few days after the PC version arrives in North America on 18th November.
Rockstar founder Sam Houser says it "looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it".
A PC version of the game has been rumoured since before the PS3 and 360 versions were even released, but Rockstar has never previously confirmed it.
The most telling sighting was a rating on the ESRB website, although that was removed a few hours later.
GTA IV came out worldwide on 29th April and Rockstar said in early June that it had sold 8.5 million copies.
The game charts the course of hero Niko Bellic as he arrives in Liberty City - a caricature of New York - and has to embark on a life of crime to get his cousin and himself out of trouble.

The range of release is from 18th November until 21th November 2008
Wew, I would buy one and see the graphic difference between consoles & PC.

Overclock VGA with RivaTuner

Try overclock your own VGA card with RivaTuner. Fo this example, i'll use my GeForce 8800gt for tweaking.
Here are the steps(sorry, no pictures):
-. First, open your RivaTuner app;
-. Next, click the triangle icon beside the driver settings, then click system settings/tweaks;
-. Then, give tick to 'Enable driver-level hardware overclocking'. If there's a warning box, just
choose 'Detect Now';
-. Next, choose performance-3D on the drop-down menu. The location is beside the previous
step(hope you understand);
-. Well, then, you got into the greatest step. Just move the slider in the Core Memory & Memory
Clock to the position you want.(WARNING: Don't be ambitious. Move the slide just by 5.
example from 600 to 605 or 610. If the GPU doesn't complain, then continue to raise the clock
by 5-10 repeatedly);
-. The step to increase the clocks called,"trial & error";
-. Next, after you done, click the floppy disk icon to save your setting. Give any name you like for
the save name;
-. Don't forget to create a profile with your VGA default settings. This'll really helping you when
somethings bad happened);
-. Finally, test your overclock setting in a benchmark like 3d Mark or see it in GPU-Z for the
prove.

This new version will support Graphic hardware in order to boost photoshop performance.The new wave of Graphics card that adopt Physic processing will also arrive in short time. AMD make ATI-Radeon HD cards with GPGPU( General Purpose GPU), but NVIDIA does'nt want to leave behind, so they use they're GeForce GTX with CUDA technology. It's not clear yet if ADOBE will give these features for Windows or for Mac only. Still, we don't know yet when Adobe CS4 will be release. So, for photoshop maniac, just be patient, ok?

Dirty keyboard is dangerous than a closet seat

Look strange, eh? Well, the fact, it is true. An institute do an experiment on this and the result is very bad. They said, dirty keyboard can produce until emm.. until... i forget, but around 3-5 times bacteries than a closet seat. This can happen because many people prefers to eat in their computer table while the small piece of food like when you chew a snack drop into the key hole. You'll don't realize this soon, but when you often get sick, you have to listen to this news. I have experienced this, so i break my keyboard into two parts, and throw it into a trash bin. You have two option, buy a new one or clean it. You can clean this stuff by open the parts from bottom and clean it, and shake your keyboard to let the small food piece out. After clean it, use a sanitized tissue to clean the keys button. After clean, this should reduce a lot of bacteries. If still too dirty, then let your keyboard walk into the trash bin, and say hello to the new one. Got it?

For Intel dual core user. You must start to save your money for the new released processors by Intel. There are 3 new processors, the Q9550, Q9450, and Q9300. These thingy are very popular i USA. Many online store run out of stock, like Buy.com and Computer4sure. This processors only for the mainstream user, because they prices are much cheaper than the X-treme Quad core processors. Here are some specifications for the new Quad-core: Q9550-2,83 GHz, 12MB L2cache, and FSB1333 MHz with price around US$520. Q9450-2,66 GHz(other specifications are same), price around US$310. The last is Q9300-2,50GHz and 6MB L2cache. Price around US$250. So, what's your choice? If i were you, I would choose the Q9450 one. because the cache is already enough for me to overclock it. Intel X48, better than X38???

Many people may be angry because they just bought an X38 chipset motherboard. Yeah, well, this news already happen when intel X38 chipset is released. They said around 4 months the X48 will be released, but some people say at the end of 2008. But the fact is some big branded motherboard manufactory, like GIGABYTE & MSI, already release the X48 motherboard. The GIGABYTE GA-X48T-DQ6 and MSI X48 Platinum, each brand say that they are the better. But if we do some benchmarks againts x38, there's not much different. The different is only BIOS date, and just a little score different(But, if you compare the motherboard using X38 & ddr2 memory, the X48 is absolute winner). the different between GA-X38T-Dq6 and GA-X48T-DQ6 is the X48 one already use DES system. Dynamic Energy Saver makes the motherboard can be used more efficients, lower power consumption, and slow global warming. While MSI X48 different againts his brother, the X38 is only x48 one already support up to FSB 1600, and use Greenpower design. last thing, for X38 owner, don't be sad and you don't need to upgrade into X48 because we still don't know deeper about X48, maybe better or worse than X38.Peace...

The XP sp3 preview

From what i've seen, Microsoft is really great. The need 3 years to make the new service pack for Windows XP. But, there's not much different between sp2 and sp3. Service pack 3 just contain the updates for sp2, So, the security tools that is downloadable from Microsoft are already integrate in here. In sp2, Windows XP is already support wireless network by using the WPA2 scripts. Security Center also get some improvements. This complete packet of RC1 and 340mb are downloadable now in Microsoft official site. But, before you install, please backup your data first.

Tips for having the healthy PC

Gonna give you some tips, eh. Like:
-. Turn off when you don't use it;
-. use features or software which make the harddisk rest when you aren't access it;
-. Try to search softwares in your computer that can make your computer save more power;
Usually, the modern hardwares & technology have this feature;
-. Don't keep turning on the softwares that you don't use, like bluetooth, or Internet Connection,
widget, etc;
-. Turn off printer, scanner or speaker when you don't use it. But i think if speaker, it may be
hard
because you must use speaker when playing games, listen to music, watch video/film, etc;

-. On the desktop PC, monitor also eat a lot of power. The trick is, try to adjust lower
brightness& contrast. But for hardcore gamers, try just to adjust lower brightness.

maybe we think that," bah, it will only save a little bit of power". But wait, if all computers do this, we can save a lot of power, right guys?
